Coastal Cleanup and Safety Advocacy Day

Members, students, partner organizations, and community volunteers will take part in a supervised shoreline cleanup followed by short public-awareness demonstrations. Activities - Safety briefing and volunteer team allocation. - Documented collection and sorting of shoreline waste. - Personal flotation device and small-craft safety demonstration. - Community conversation on reporting pollution and unsafe practices. Participant guidance - Wear closed shoes, light long-sleeved clothing, and sun protection. - Bring a reusable water bottle; gloves and collection materials will be provided. - Participants under eighteen must attend with an approved guardian or institution. - All volunteers must follow the event safety plan and team-lead instructions.
